Lunaism is the religion commonly believes by werewolves. They worship Lady Luna, a beautiful goddess/angel who kept watch of all the living creatures. Her hair is long and elegant, snow white with pale skin. She is depicted as a breathtaking beauty, the picture of perfection in every way.
It is believed that Luna had loved all the creatures, but she had a special place for the wolf. She had fallen in love with an elder wolf, neither handsome or charming, but very sweet and gentle, with the wisdom of a true leader.
Luna and the wolf had five children: Maimai, Avoy, Azuko, Kalura, and Haku. They were the first five werewolves.
There was another angel lurking in the distance, watching Luna and the wolf. He had loved Luna, and grew enraged and jealous over their love. One day he murdered Luna, which freed her from her mortal body. She then banished the angel to the depths of Hell, and then turned to her children. She told them to drink her blood, which gave them incredibly long life span, fast healing metabolism, and the ability to use the forces of nature as spells. She told her children to use their powers with wisdom, and to protect man, their masters. And with that her spirit rose up into the heavens, and never returned. Legend says that she now inhabits the moon.
Each of the five children became the mothers and fathers of werewolf civilization:
Maimai- Mother of Spells
She created all of the spells werewolves used. Because some had grown abusive of their powers, she made very powerful spells forbidden. It is said that she created all of the Lupus Amulets, and helped formed the system of the pack.
Azuko- Mother of the Dancing Swords
Azuko is the founder of all the werewolf weapons, and is the reason that the weapons have their own intelligence. She convince Maimai into placing a spell on the weapons, so it may challenge the owners and train them to be powerful wielders.
Kalura- Mother of Birth
Kalura is said to be the founder of nurturing and the reason of motherly instinct.
Avoy- Father of the Sense
He helped develop the sixthed sense that werewolves have: to be able to see demonic creatures.
Haku- Father of Loyalty
Haku was the one who earned the humans' trust, and helped his mother's request to live on. He is the reason how werewolves were such enforced guardians against demons and things humans could not control.
Note: Werewolves do believe in a God, however they tend to focus on worshiping Luna.
